A popular, somewhat reckless male student. He becomes romantically involved with Chris. He contracts the Bug before Chris (or around same time) and his mutation becomes severe (in the novel: extra mouth at base of his neck) as a metaphor for his secret.
Casting note: Needs charm and confidence, but also a hidden darkness and vulnerability once infected.
