In April 2023, HBO announced plans for a TV series adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’s riveting thriller novel, “The Shards” (2023), originally conceived as a series of gripping podcast episodes. Now, the excitement mounts as acclaimed director Luca Guadagnino joins the project, following his successful collaboration with HBO on “We Are Who We Are,” starring Chloë Sevigny.
