Patricia Arquette has been cast as Maggie Murdaugh in Hulu’s upcoming limited series about the infamous Murdaugh Murders. The show, co-created by Michael D. Fuller (Quarry) and Erin Lee Carr (Britney vs Spears), is based on journalist Mandy Matney’s investigations and podcast on the chilling true-crime saga.
The series will explore the dark and twisted story of the Murdaugh family, focusing on the shocking murders of Maggie and her son Paul, for which patriarch Alex Murdaugh was convicted. Arquette will bring Maggie’s tragic tale to life, but the big question remains: who will play Alex Murdaugh, the man serving two life sentences for the brutal crimes?
