The comic unfolds the adventures of two young roommates, Walt and Dan, as they embark on a life-changing journey through Spain and Morocco.
Walt and Dan, seeking to break free from the monotony of their everyday lives, decide to venture into the unknown with very little money, limited travel experience, and social skills that could generously be described as lacking. Their aspirations are simple: to find something that will rekindle their spirits. However, they soon discover that the routines and habits formed in the comfort of their shared living space don’t always translate seamlessly to the dynamic and unpredictable nature of life on the road.
Throughout their journey, Walt and Dan navigate the challenges of meeting new people, finding food and shelter, and forging connections in unfamiliar places. All of this is beautifully depicted through Alex Fellows’ exquisite watercolor illustrations, which bring the characters and settings to life in a vivid and engaging way.
As their story unfolds, the bonds of friendship between Walt and Dan are tested in unexpected and surreal ways, ultimately leading to an unforgettable climax.
